Training Messages in Antispam Cloud

  • Training messages helps the system learn which emails are legitimate and which are spam. This improves accuracy and reduces future misclassification.

    You can upload message samples directly to Antispam Cloud and tell the system how they should be treated.

    How Training Works

    You upload an original message file (for example a spam message or a legitimate one), and Antispam Cloud learns from it. This is useful if you receive:

    • Spam that is not being blocked

    • Legitimate emails that are incorrectly marked as spam

    Training helps the filter adjust its behaviour.

    Supported File Types

    You can upload messages in the following formats:

    • MSG

    • EML

    • TXT

    Maximum file size: 5 MB per message

    How to Train Messages

    Step 1: Upload message(s)

    • Drag and drop the message file into the upload box

    • Or click browse to select it manually

    Step 2: Choose how the system should classify it

    Select one of the options:

    • Legitimate message(s)
      Choose this when the email is safe and should be delivered in future.

    • Spam message(s)
      Use this when the email is spam and similar messages should be blocked in future.

    Click Continue to submit the training entry.

    Tips for Better Accuracy

    • Upload the original email file, not a screenshot or forwarded copy

    • Only train messages that are clearly spam or clearly legitimate

    • Avoid training newsletters as spam if you subscribed to them

    • The more samples you upload, the smarter the filter becomes
