How to Switch Your Fibre Line From Another Provider to Mweb

    Switching to Mweb Fibre is simple. Follow the steps below to enjoy fast and reliable internet.

  • 1. Cancel with Your Current Service Provider

    Start by notifying your current Internet Service Provider (ISP) to cancel your services with them. Keep in mind the following:

    • Notice Period: Most ISPs require a 30-day notice period.
    • Fees: A cancellation or migration fee may apply, depending on your current ISP’s terms.
    • Line Release: Once your line is released by your previous ISP, your Mweb order will proceed.

    Note: The time it takes for your line to be released is determined by your current ISP. Mweb has no control over this timeframe.

  • 2. Sign Up for Mweb Fibre

    After ensuring your current ISP has started the cancellation process, follow these steps to sign up for Mweb Fibre:

    1. Visit Our Website: Go to https://www.mweb.co.za/switch and complete the sign-up process.
    2. Provide Your UID (Unique Line ID): Obtain your UID from your existing ISP and email it to switch@mweb.com.
