If you’ve received a mailbox quota warning from Mweb, it means your mailbox is almost full. Learn how to free up space safely or upgrade your mailbox storage.

If you’re unable to send emails while connected through Mweb, it’s likely because your email address is hosted by another provider (like Telkom). According to international RFC email standards, you must use your email provider’s SMTP server to send mail, not the one from your connection ISP. Update your outgoing mail settings to match your email provider to fix the issue.

If you’ve checked your IP address and noticed it’s listed on a PBL, don’t worry. This is normal for most home internet connections and doesn’t mean there’s a problem with your Mweb email service.

If your email fails to send due to a blacklisted IP, it could be caused by CGNAT on the network you’re using to connect, not by Mweb’s mail servers.

If your email domain isn’t hosted with Mweb, use your own provider’s SMTP details instead of smtp.mweb.co.za. This ensures your messages are sent correctly and keeps Mweb’s network secure for all users.

Before the mail upgrade, print your Mweb Webmail tasks. The new platform includes Tasks, but existing ones won’t move automatically.
